Conversion by ‘peterf1999’

(DVD9 to 2xDVD5)

Install sequence: DVD1-DVD2

1) Create 2 Temp folders on your hardrive.
Name one folder: Proto_1. This will be the name (Label) of DVD1.
Name the other folder: Proto_2. This will be the name (Label) of DVD2.

2) Copy all the contents of the ‘Prototype DVD9’ to the ‘Proto_1’ folder.

3) MOVE the following files from the ‘Proto_1’ folder to the ‘Proto_2’ folder:

FirewallInstallHelper.dll
GameuxInstallHelper.dll
vcredist_x86.exe
version.inf

4) COPY the following folders from the ‘Proto_1’ folder to the ‘Proto_2’ folder:

DirectX
Docs

5) COPY the following files from the ‘Proto_1’ folder to the ‘Proto_2’ folder:

Setup.exe
Setup.ini
ISSetup.dll
0x0409.ini
0x040a.ini
0x040c.ini
0x0410.ini

6) CREATE a folder in the ‘Proto_2’ folder and name it: Setup
7) CREATE a folder in the ‘Setup’ folder and name it: Data

8) MOVE the following files from the ‘Proto_1\Setup\data’ folder to the ‘Proto_2\Setup\data’ folder:

01woi.rcf
02woi.rcf
03woi.rcf

9) COPY the ‘rsrc’ folder from the ‘Proto_1\Setup’ folder to the ‘Proto_2\Setup’ folder.

10) Using the Notepad, CREATE an ‘Autorun.inf’ file in the ‘Proto_2’ folder and edit as shown below then Save it.

11) Download the edited ‘Prototype.msi’ file from HERE and extract the contents of the RAR file to the ‘Proto_1’ folder overwriting any files if prompted.

12) Burn the contents of the ‘Proto_1’ folder to a DVD (or Create an ISO) with the Label: PROTOTYPE_1

13) Burn the contents of the ‘Proto_2’ folder to a DVD (or Create an ISO) with the Label: PROTOTYPE
