Prince of Persia – The Forgotten Sands (1xDVD5)

Conversion by ‘peterf1999’

(DVD9 to 1xDVD5) [Multi 6] EURO *FULL*

1) Create a Temp folder on your hardrive.
Name this folder: The Forgotten Sands. This will be the name (Label) of our DVD.

2) Copy all the contents of the ‘Prince of Persia – The Forgotten Sands DVD9’ to the ‘The Forgotten Sands’ folder.

3) Download the ‘POP_TFS_1xDVD5.rar’ file from HERE and extract the contents of the RAR file to the ‘The Forgotten Sands’ folder overwriting any files if prompted.

4) In the ‘The Forgotten Sands’ folder RUN the ‘repack.bat’ file and wait until the process finishes.

5) Install the game from the ‘Prince of Persia – The Forgotten Sands DVD9’.

6) Using FreeArc browse to the game’s install folder and select the following files to compress:

DataPC_StreamedSounds.forge
DataPC_actors.forge
DataPC_24-28.forge
DataPC_19-22.forge
DataPC_13-18.forge
DataPC_08-12.forge
DataPC_04-07.forge
DataPC_01-03.forge

FreeArc Settings:
Output archive: POP_TFS
Compression: -mx -ld400m

7) MOVE the ‘POP_TFS.arc’ file from the game’s install folder to the ‘The Forgotten Sands’ folder.

8) Using the Notepad open the ‘setup.ini’ file in the ‘The Forgotten Sands’ folder and edit the following line as shown below then Save it.

…. Change from:

CheckMD5=Y

…. Change to:

CheckMD5=N

9) Burn the contents of the ‘The Forgotten Sands’ folder to a DVD (or Create an ISO) with the Label: The Forgotten Sands

Note: You can use any Label you choose.

DVD5 Size: 2.86 GB

For a New Background Image (below) download the ‘IS_BGI.7z’ file from HERE
If you want Sounds with your installer download the ‘IS+sound.7z’ file from HERE

To Use one of the above files:
Do this extra step after Step 8 above and ‘before’ burning or creating an ISO.

Download one the ‘IS.exe’ files from the links above and extract the contents of the RAR file to the ‘The Forgotten Sands\The Forgotten Sands’ folder overwriting any files if prompted.
